Mickey Rourke was seated at ringside in the front row. Chris Jericho made his entrance, then Steamboat, Snuka, Piper and Flair were all introduced, coming out on the stage and then walking to the ring together. Flair hugged Rourke at ringside. Apparently it will be tag team rules for the Legends. The Legends argued over who would start the match.
Piper spat at Jericho and charged him to start the match. Piper tackled Jericho to the mat and hit some punches. Piper tackled Jericho over the top rope and to the floor, catching his hand in the ropes. As they got back in the ring, Jericho kicked Piper, but Piper came back with a sunset flip for a two count, and a ugly dropkick. Piper slapped Jericho and punched him in a corner. Piper rammed Jericho into a corner. Snuka called for Piper to ram Jericho into his head, and he did. Piper tagged Snuka, who hit some chops against the ropes. Snuka hit some chops and tagged Steamboat, who came off the top rope with a chop, then a pair of trademark armdrags. There was a chant for “Steamboat” as he worked over Jericho’s arm. Steamboat tagged Snuka and they hit a double chop. Snuka headbutted Jericho, but Jericho tripped Snuka and grabbed the Walls Of Jericho. Snuka tapped out at the four minute mark.
Jericho didn’t release the hold right away, and Steamboat and Piper came in to try and break it. Jericho let go, then shoved Steamboat out of the ring as he turned to exit. Piper went at it with Jericho, hitting the eye poke, and then applying a sleeper. Jericho thrust forward, sending Piper throat first into the top rope. Jericho hit an enzugiri for the pin at the five minute mark.
Steamboat immediate came off the top with a flying bodypress for a two count. Jericho and Steamboat traded chops. Jericho hit a snap mare and a kick to the back. Jericho put Steamboat in a chinlock, Steamboat fought up and hit some shots, then a shoulderblock. Jericho tossed Steamboat from the ring, but Steamboat skinned the cat (which the camera missed) while Jericho knocked Flair off the apron. Steamboat hit a pescado on Jericho, tossed him into the ring and hit a top rope chop. Steamboat hit some chops, leapfrogged Jericho in a corner and rolled him up for two. Jericho threw punches and chops, then kicked away a backdrop attempt by Steamboat and hit a bulldog. Jericho missed a Lionsault, but ran into an elbow. Jericho kicked Steamboat to the mat, but ran into a Steamboat powerslam. Jericho tripped Steamboat and grabbed the Walls Of Jericho, but Steamboat rolled out of it into a small package for a two count. The crowd is going nuts for Steamboat. Steamboat flipped out of a suplex attempt, but Jericho grabbed him with a Codebreaker for the pin at the nine minute mark.
Winner: Chris Jericho.
Flair ran into the ring and went at it with Jericho. Flair hit some shots, but Jericho backdropped him. Jericho then gave Flair a Codebreaker. Jericho kicked Flair’s body out of the ring and called for the microphone. Jericho began bragging about his win, then called out Rourke. Rourke gestured that Jericho was all talk. Jericho called him a coward, and said if he doesn’t get in the ring, he’d jump the rail and slap him. Rourke talked to the people with him (one of whom looks like Frank Shamrock), then stepped into the ring, taking off his jacket as he did so. Rourke played up to the crowd, then took off his hat and stepped onto the apron. Rourke finally got in the ring, and he certainly doesn’t have his “Randy The Ram” body anymore. Rourke threw a few jabs at Jericho, and Jericho backed up. Rourke decked Jericho with a left hook. Flair got in the ring and raised Rourke’s arm

West Indies’ hopes of securing the draw that will give them their first series victory since 2004 suffered a devastating blow midway through the afternoon session on the third day in Trinidad, when their captain, Chris Gayle was forced to retire hurt with a torn right hamstring, which he sustained while running a sharp single to bring up his 10th Test century. By tea, Shivnarine Chanderpaul – himself struggling with a groin twinge – and Brendan Nash had regrouped well in a solid fifth-wicket stand of 48, but at 251 for 4, West Indies still trailed England’s first innings by 295 runs.
Gayle’s injury occurred in a hectic passage of play which began with a casual clip off the pads from Stuart Broad. Owais Shah at midwicket misfielded badly, and Gayle, on 99, attempted to take advantage. Within seconds he knew he had made a bad error of judgement and had the subsequent shy hit the stumps, it would have beaten his stretch for the crease by a matter of inches. But though he survived, his celebrations were muted in the extreme, as he slumped to his knees and beckoned for help. After lengthy treatment on the outfield he was helped back to the pavilion, having led from the front with 10 fours and two sixes in a 161-ball innings.

J R has confirmed in his latest blog that Hulk Hogan is indeed not in a position to wrestle any time soon… That may be the reason why Cena was put back in the main event scene along with Edge and BigShow

At last word, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin is booked to appear at Raw tapings in Nashville (2/23) and San Antonio (3/16).
Well he will be in Houstan, Texas for sure, but will he be there for a match, one last match after the night he gets into Hall of Fame at wrestlemania 2009 ?
He may have match with Chris Jericho perhaps…

The incident that happened between Chris Jericho and a couple of fans where Chris ended up beating a female fan may very well be a work by wwe itself. Its planned work is the word, jsut to hype the heel attitude of Y2J

Ric Flair made his great return to monday night RAW with a lot of WOOOOOOs.. here is what happened
Flair made his way down to the ring, and after a few classic Woos, he told everyone how great it felt to be back in the ring in front of everyone. He informed us that this time last year he was fighting for his job in WWE when he was suddenly interrupted by an entering Chris Jericho. Jericho told him to pay attention to the Titan Tron as he rolled footage of him and Y2J hugging at Flair’s retirement ceremony. Y2J then went on to say he hugged Flair out of respect, but that he wouldn’t have done it if he hadn’t “prostituted” himself after leaving WWE. He said had he known he would end up like that he would have slapped him in the face. Flair responded by saying that he has never sold out, and that he has too much respect for Shawn Michaels, WWE and the fans to get back into the ring. He said he never sold himself out. Jericho accused him of being a spotlight hog, to which Flair said yes, he crave’s being in the business and performing for the fans. He said he’ll live his life the way he wants to and will not listen to Y2J telling him what to do and how to do it. Jericho then said Flair will listen to him, and called himself a locker room leader and that the guys in the back all respect him. This drew a ton of heat from the crowd. He accused the fans of not really respecting the Nature Boy, and that once they go to bed tonight, they will forget all about him tonight on Raw. Y2J then demanded that Flair tell the fans he thinks he’s better than all of them because he knows Flair is selfish and thinks higher of himself than anyone else. He then accuses Flair of pandering, and says all the Woos, and the strut and the autographs is just Flair being a puppet, and he asks Flair to be a “good dog” and perform for the crowd. At this point Flair interrupts Jericho by hitting him with the microphone, then proceeds to do the classic Woo and strut as Jericho rolls out of the ring and heads to the back humiliated.

Well… thats interesting … WWE wanna hype the champs before they go to the biggest stage of them all… Just a big win like this would help..
Its a pretty much a baby face vs heel match… Cena Rey and Kofi taking on their respective rivals Y2J , Mike Knox and Kane.. Interestingly it has only 2 main eventers in it.. Cena and Y2J. I still have a feeling that Y2J would be challenging Rourke at wrestlemania.. so its gonna be Cena who would leave as champ.
It might be this way, it will be down to Cena Jericho Mike Knox and Kane… the superman would single handedly win the rest and headline the wrestlemania..
As any other old shit of Cena would be …
