ECW injured superstar Evan Bourne will be making his long awaited return to television right tonight.

He would be facing Jamie Noble

Smackdown 500th Episode – MVP vs Shelton US Title MVP wins US Title

WWE will tape the next two weeks of SmackDown tonight at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. This week’s edition of SmackDown will be the 500th episode and is set to feature talent from all three WWE brands. United States Champion Shelton Benjamin will put his title on the line against MVP. Bell time is set for 7:00 p.m. local time and as of this writing; tickets still remain available in the upper levels. Jeff Hardy vs. Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship is being advertised locally as the dark main event.

ECW: (Airing This Week)
* Primo Colon b. The Miz
- Primo got the win following a backstabber. 

* Tyson Kidd w/Natalya b. DJ Gabriel w/Alicia Fox
- Tyson Kidd gets the quick win with an elbow off the top rope. 

* It is announced that Evan Bourne will return next week. 

* Tri-Branded Battle Royal with the winner getting a spot in the Money in the Bank Ladder match at WrestleMania 25.
- The final two in the Battle Royal are Christian & Chavo Guerrero. Christian gets the win to earn a spot in the Money in the Bank Ladder match at WrestleMania 25.

Tag title and ECW title plans for Wrestlemania 2009

Right now many guys including Primo brothers and Miz and Morrison Swagger, Evan  and REY are without a feud going to wrestlemania. May be world tag team title unification match may be happening and a ECW title match… 

All those who are not involved in any feud may be involved in battle royal, but that looks very week as already we have a diva battle royal now. 

Rey Mysterio may be challenging JBL for the IC Title and that may be the opening match for Wrestlemania

Evan Bourne returns next week

Injured rising ECW super star Evan Bourne is advertised to return to the ring next week in ECW. May be he will be competing for the ECW Title at Wrestlemania 2009/

Dark Match: 
* Dolph Ziggler b. DJ Gabriel 

ECW On Sci-Fi: (Airing Tomorrow) 
* Paul Burchill w/Katie Lea b. The Boogeyman 
- The Boogeyman reaches in his bag to get some worms and Paul Burchill catches him with the roll-up for the win. After the match, Boogeyman chases Burchill and Katie Lea to the back. 

* Jack Swagger vs. Christian for the ECW Championship is announced for next week. 

* The Miz & John Morrison come out to the ring. 

* John Morrison b. Tommy Dreamer 
- The Miz is at ringside during the match. The referee ejects him after he attempts to interfere. John Morrison gets the win via pinfall after connecting with his finisher. 

* Finlay, Hornswoggle, and Christian come out and cut a promo. Christian lectures Hornswoggle to not distract them tonight during their tag team match against Jack Swagger & Mark Henry. 

* Tyson Kidd b. Matthews Now (Unknown Jobber) 
- Typical squash match. Kidd gets the win after an elbow drop springboard off the top rope. 

* Ricky Ortiz & Tommy Dreamer cut a promo. Ortiz puts over Dreamer by saying he’s the first person who welcomed him and that he is ECW. 

* Finlay & Christian b. Mark Henry & Jack Swagger 
- Mark Henry gets hit with Finlay’s shillelagh after Hornswoggle gets hit. Jack Swagger goes for his finisher on Christian who counters it for the win

Jack Swagger wins this one. Lots of boring chants from the crowd. winner and still ecw champion jack swagger and he will face christian cage soon.

DH Smith Storyline plans spoiler

DH Smith was actually expected to make Hart foundation along with Natalya and Tyyson Kidd. But he instead asked the wwe creative team to make him part of the legacy so that he comes into main event directly. 

 

This has brought some legitimate heat from Natalya and Kidd . Its to be noted that Kidd made his debut in ECW

Christian Cage returns to wwe

For those who are still unaware, Captain charisma, instatnt classic Christian cage has returned to wwe in ECW brand. He would be challenging the winner of Jack Swagger vs Finlay match at No Way Out.
Also he made his inring return by defeating Jack Swagger from a little help from Finlay and Hornswoggle.

Lets just hope CC takes ECW to next level
